Criteria for Committee Membership
- Must be a Government or Publicly owned Utility, or if a Privately owned Utility
presents an audited financial statement satisfactory to the Committee pursuant to
the by-laws, Article III, Section 4 and submits a copy of its California Certificate
of Public Convenience and Necessity or proof of Public Service Agency Certificate
as applicable, if required.
- Agrees to meet all terms, conditions and obligations contained within the current
Agreement.
- The ability to demonstrate proof of sufficient insurance, self-insurance, or the
financial ability to defend and to respond in damages to the kind of litigation
usually incident to a utility business of the size of the applicant.
